Prenatal Classes

Prenatal classes are offered as a series of classes or as a day-long Saturday session to be taken one to two months before the baby's due date. Mothers-to-be and spouses or support persons are encouraged to attend these classes together. Taught by OB Registered Nurses, these classes provide information about pregnancy, labor, delivery, cesarean section and postpartum recovery. Completion of a prenatal class (or prior attendance at the birth of another child) is a requirement for anyone planning to be present during delivery. Please note: One element of the training will focus on relaxation, breathing techniques, comfort measures and aromatherapy. We do not teach Lamaze or Bradley methods.
