FHN Community Garden

Gardening is good for you physically and mentally!
If you love fresh vegetables, digging in the dirt and enjoying the outdoors, join us in the garden this summer and grow your own fresh, healthy produce.

The fenced garden is located just behind FHN Family Healthcare Center - Burchard Hills, 1010 W. Fairway Drive in Freeport. At $25 each, the raised beds are 4 x 8 feet.

Applications for the 2021 garden season are due by May 28.

FHN's Community Garden is led by FHN staff and Master Gardeners from the University of Illinois Extension.

Partners in the FHN Community Garden project include: Sparrow Lawn; Anne's Garden Center and Landscape Supply; Hasken Construction LLC; Fischer Excavating; Hunter Haven Farms; the City of Freeport; and the University of Illinois Extension.
