Chelsea Davis, MSW

Specialty: Medical Social Worker
Location: FHN Family Counseling Center - Stephenson County

Mental health and advocacy have become my passions. I have honed these passions through my work experiences, educational experiences, internships, volunteer experiences, research projects, and my own personal life experiences. I use all these skills to help advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves, provide a safe place for individuals to share and work on themselves, and ultimately make our world a little better, one person at a time. As a therapist, I use a variety of therapeutic techniques and base this choice on patient goals and needs. A lot of my focus uses trauma informed care based therapy, as well as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and an Interpersonal Approach. I try to meet a patient where they are at and guide them along the path they want to follow. I provide individual, family, and couples therapy, while also assisting in crisis services.
