First Aid Basics
Recommended for grades 4 – 6.
This half-hour program reviews poison safety, shows children how to control bleeding, and tells them what to do in case of an emergency. The program is designed for middle school children who will not be monitored as closely by their parents. The program will teach them to think about what they are about to ingest and show them blue window washing fluid that might be mistaken for a sports drink, and prescription pills that might look like candy.
Teachers: if you are interested in presenting this program to your class, please download the program script.
