FHN will offer first and second Moderna COVID-19 booster vaccinations at a May 24 clinic in Freeport.
The clinic will run from 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 24 at FHN's 1763 S. Dirck Drive, Freeport location. First or second COVID-19 booster shots will be available at this event for those eligible individuals having received their first booster at least 4 months ago. Registration is necessary for this event; visit www.fhn.org for more information and to register.
FHN is following CDC guidelines regarding eligibility, available at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/booster-shot.html.
Booster shot recipients must bring a photo ID and their COVID-19 immunization card with them to their appointment. All patients should plan to stay for 15 minutes after receiving the vaccination (30 minutes for persons who have had immediate reactions to vaccinations such as flu shots, or regularly need to carry an EpiPen).
