Have dinner at Culver's April 12 and benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Illinois.
Culver's Share Night for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Illinois will be held from 4 - 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 12 at Culver's, 1690 Dirck Drive in Freeport. Ten percent of the evening's sales will be donated to BBBS to help recruit and support mentors in Stephenson and Jo Daviess counties.
"We are planning to be at Culver's that evening with information about how you can make a difference in a child's life by becoming a mentor," said Janet Plante, BBBS case manager and community educator at FHN Family Counseling Center. "We're so glad to have this opportunity to get the message out about mentoring!"
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Illinois, a program of FHN Family Counseling Center, makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers ("Bigs") and children ("Littles"), ages 6 through 18. The program helps develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people. Big Brothers Big Sisters operates under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life.
