Live Well, Work Well

Walking is one of many activities that will count toward the annual goal of 480 miles during the program year (1-1-17 through 11-30-17). The 2017 program will default to walking 20 minutes in a mile. If you prefer to engage in other physical activities or would like to use a different pace for your walk just use the drop down to choose your equivalent. We suggest you start with an activity or pace that is comfortable and enjoyable for you. Each week you may want to consider adding time or increasing your pace until you are breathing harder but able to carry on a conversation. The best part of the walking program is that your health is improving with each step you take. If you have any questions about the walking program call your nurse health coach, Mary, at ext. 7156.
