It's rewarding to help my patients through their problems with techniques specific to them, such as relaxation and mindfulness training or Depression and Pain Management groups. My primary method of counseling is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a method which has been proven through research to be highly effective. Caring for my patients fulfills my dream of being a counselor - a dream I have had since high school.
