News
There's always something new going on at FHN. As a growing healthcare system, we're not content to stick with the status quo. That's why you'll continue to find us opening new doors to touch the lives of those whom we serve.
We're here. For you.

2009 Tour for Cancer Century, June 27, 2009
6/27/2009

Saturday, June 27th
7:00 AM

Start and Finish at the Family YMCA of Northwest Illinois on the campus of Highland Community College
2866 W. Pearl City Road
Freeport, Illinois 61032

Support a great cause while riding some of the most beautiful roads in the state. The Century passes through several Northwest Illinois communities and gently rolling terrain with only a couple of sharp climbs. Convenience stores are located throughout the quaint small towns, and there will be a designated halfway stop at Karen's Restaurant in downtown Stockton with a refresher at the Dairy Queen in Mount Carroll. You’re encouraged to bring two bottles of water, sun block, and your favorite energy bars and/or gels. We’ll provide the maps, and the course will be well marked.

If you prefer, there will also be a shorter 30 mile tour.

There is no T-shirt, no giveaways, and no admission fee.

But, your gracious donation to the FHN Leonard C. Ferguson Cancer Center, affiliated with the University of Wisconsin Paul P. Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center would be gratefully accepted.
